Holiday Fun at SM Mall of Asia

The Holiday Fun Never Stops at
 SM Mall of Asia

Christmas has officially began when SM Mall of Asia unveiled its amazing Christmas tree last November 11, 2012. Special guests Kuh Ledesma and her daughter Isabella, the UP Singing Ambassadors, and the Philippine All-Stars made the inaugural holiday event brighter with various performances.

This festive season, SM Mall of Asia is inviting everyone to the Christmas Toy Wonderworld, a breathtaking spectacle of lights, music, and performance guaranteed to generate smiles. Christmas Toy Wonderworld is inspired by the gift that every child expects to find under the Christmas tree: toys. The country’s premier lifestyle destination takes a little idea to larger-than-life proportions—every part of SM Mall of Asia has been transformed into a wonderland filled with life-sized toys, cartoon characters, and other special offerings that one would not find anywhere else. SM Mall of Asia has also prepared an exciting line-up of events that would bring more cheer to families and friends who have gathered for the occasion.

One of these events is the Grand Festival of Lights, a visual treat for all the shoppers and visitors of the mall. This parade is reminiscent of all the brightly lit parades of major amusement parks all over the world, but with that distinctly cheerful touch that Filipinos lend to their holiday celebrations. The Grand Festival of Lights features a wide variety of floats from different brands such as Kids Universe, Toy Kingdom, Akari and NXLED, Watsons, the Science Discovery Center, Ace Hardware, SM Hypermarket, SM Appliance Center, Kultura, and Storyland.

This year, the Grand Festival of Lights will feature breathtaking floats inspired by the beloved and exciting new toy concepts. This parade is perfect for children and the young-at-heart to create and share delightful holiday memories with their families and friends. The floats are accompanied by dancers and performers who will make the parade more interactive and festive for the audience.

The Grand Festival of Lights will make its merry rounds in the SM Mall of Asia starting the first day of December at 6 PM. Shoppers are very much welcome to watch the parade on all Saturdays of December (December 1, 8, 15, and 22), and there will be a special Christmas Day parade as well. The parade will start along the North Arcade and end in San Miguel by the Bay.

Children of all ages (as well as the young at heart) are also welcome to join Santa Claus at the Main Mall Atrium on weekends starting November 11, 2012.

Make the holidays more special by spending them in SM Mall of Asia, the premier lifestyle destination by the bay!
