Registration Policies:

1. This is an open competition. Professional, non-professional, students can participate.

2. Schedule:
November 24 to December 7 Registration/Submission of Entries
December 8 to December 31 Exhibits of Entries
December 20 - 3pm Judging of Entries

3. Entries must be submitted to the Marketing Department on or before December 7, 2010, 5PM.

4. Requirement would be the following:
a. Purchase requirement of 15 green bags
b. Application Form
c. Waiver
d. Valid ID
e. Php 500 single receipt purchase from any of the mall establishments, including SM Supermarket/ Hypermarket and SM Department Store

5. Theme of the entries should be FASHIONABLE CHRISTMAS

6. This entitles participant to enter only one (1) application form. One participant only per application form.

7. All entries must adhere to the theme and be atleast 121.90cm x 121.90cm (4ftx4ft) in size and not bigger than 121.90cmx304.80cm (4x10 ft).

8. Entries should be 3D creations or dioramas created with LED lights representing the theme.

9. Participants will be given a claim stub after they register. This stub will be presented along with a valid I.D. to claim their entries after the scheduled display.

10. For safety reasons, the Christmas lights to be used must be primarily LED lights and must have the stamp of Philippine Standards (PS) and Import Commodity Clearance (ICC) purchased from either ACE Hardware or SM Department Store.

11. All other materials the contestant will use will be on their account. However, these materials should be:
a. Non-flammable
b. Non-toxic
c. No water feature

12. Criteria for judging:
30% Creativity
30% Uniqueness
20% Materials used
20% Execution/ Adherence to the theme

13. Prizes include:
Grand Prize: 50,000.00 cash (1 winner)
2nd Prize: 30,000.00 cash (1 winner)
3rd Prize: 10,000.00 cash (1 winner)
Eco Bag Shopper’s Choice Award: 5, 000 cash (1 winner)

Special criteria for ECO bag Award- the entry with the most number of Eco Bag purchase dated Nov.24-30,2010 paired to it shall win the award.
a. Supporters may buy additional Ecobag to support their favorite entries 1 Ecobag= 1 point
b. Only Ecobag purchase dated Nov.24-30,2010 will be credited.
c. Suppoters may register points with the Marketing Department within the promo period.
d. Supporters must surrender their purchase receipts with the name of the participant written at the back. Erasures will invalidate the points.
e. Points will be tabulated on Dec.20 by personnel from the Marketing Department in the presence of a DTI representative at the Event Center during the awarding ceremories, and the winner shall then be declined.

14. Winners will be announced on December 30, 2010.Winners will be notified by phone and registered mail. Names of winners will be posted in the mall.

15. Taxes for prizes shall be shouldered by the SM City San Lazaro.

16. To claim prize, winners must present his/ her notification letter, claim stub, TIN and one valid ID (furnished in two copies) to Shopping Center Management Corporation Administration Office c/o Marketing Department during office hours from Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm. Organizer reserves the right to require submission of additional document/s to validate identity of winner/s.
